I’ve received a promotion to manager, specifically as a Wedding Manager! Some may have heard it through the grapevine already, but I am officially certified as a Wedding & Event Planner at TM Grey Events. Additionally, I am certified in Event Decor. I am still working on a few more wedding planning certifications, too. I am also a member of ILEA or the International Live Events Association.
With that, I am more than excited to announce the launch of TM Grey Events Wedding & Event Planning. The books are open for Wedding Management, also known as Wedding Coordinator and Month of Coordination. As your Wedding Manager, it’s my job to ensure that your wedding day goes as perfectly as possible.

Last year, after a crazy start to 2023, I went full-time in my photography business. That isn’t going away. TM Grey Photo is here to stay. Yay! Blame it on the ADHD, but I enjoy doing different jobs and wearing multiple hats. Plus, I get to serve wedding clients in a whole new way. I am also very excited to work with more of the many friends I have made over the years. However, I have no plans to step away from the camera.
Do you offer full-service planning?
Not yet, but I will offer it soon. Full-service planning includes a year of planning and wedding design. Keep an eye out for that drop.
Will you photograph and plan my wedding?
Not right now, but I have plans to make that available. For now, I am more than happy to do one or the other for you to make your wedding day dreams come true.
Are you still going to be a private editor?
Sadly, no. I am closing the door on this chapter of the TM Grey Photo. To be honest, while I loved helping my fellow photographers, it wasn’t something I had as much of a passion for. Using AI programs for culling and editing is on the rise, making the need for private editors increasingly niche. My last clients have already been told, but I highly recommend Nicole or Michelle. I’ve used them for my editing and they are fabulous.
What about being a video producer?
That is a fantastic question. If you know me, I don’t give up on dreams easily. So I’m not. After no longer working as a full-time corporate Associate Producer, on top of the strike, I realized I couldn’t rely on being a video producer as my main gig. However, the work I did as an Associate Producer was very similar to a Production Coordinator. The freelance film & TV role world is still building back up from last year’s strike, but being a Wedding Planner is in the same realm as what I love to do. It’s organizing a project on behalf of a client. It’s also managing budgets, contracts with vendors, schedules, and timelines (call sheets in the video world), being the coordinator on the day of (or production day).
I’m lucky that my skills translate to different things. I will return to the film & tv world (maybe even as a screenwriter). And the great thing about running my business is deciding how much of everything I do. I could plan a few weddings, do some photography, write my books and scripts, and even help coordinate video productions. I’m just another step closer to everything I’ve always wanted.
If you have more questions, please see the FAQs on www.tmgreyevents.com or reach out. I’d love to set up a consultation with you.
Special shout-out to QC Event School. If anyone else is considering becoming a planner or working in the live event world in any aspect, definitely check out QC Event School. I started my certification planning journey in the fall of 2023. However, this has been something that I’ve wanted to do since 2021 when I first heard about another wedding vendor getting their certification. I can’t wait to announce my next certifications. Make sure you subscribe and don’t miss out.
Bonus shout-out to Candice Coppola for being a great mentor for all things planning.
