Cape May is the perfect place to take engagement photos. The various backdrops are endless, from Victorian homes to the brilliant, clean, and quiet beach.
Please take me back to Cape May! Michelle and Spencer are so sweet. Sunday was a dream. We lucked out from the rain this weekend and got nothing but sun and a beautiful ocean breeze.
Michelle and Spencer are lovely and the kind of people you want to hang out with. They have this radiant energy, and their happiness and smiles are infectious. I was elated during their whole shoot. We had so much fun together.
We made our way around the town, stopping at some gorgeous Victorian houses and businesses. There are so many little nooks and crannies to take pictures in, and we found them all. They picked the perfect summery outfits, too!
Then we got some ice cream and made a little date of it. There wasn’t a moment where they stopped smiling. It’s all over their faces, how in love they are.
After that, we switched outfits and headed to the beach. Evidently, running in the sand is a challenging feat. They were champions; some might even say champions of the sun. And let me tell you that sun was everywhere we needed it to be. We took advantage of every last piece of sunlight as it dipped into the horizon.
One of my favorite things about them is just how easygoing and joyful they are. They have this natural gravitation toward each other that really shows you how deep their love goes. Overall, we had the best time. Michelle and Spencer are certainly gonna have a hard time picking save-the-dates.
I cannot wait until next April! We are going to have the most fabulous time. Their wedding will be one big party at Bogey’s, and I am here for it.
You can tell Michelle, and Spencer followed my outfit tips for engagements. Their colors really made them pop against the Cape May landscape. As a result, they mixed some beautiful cool neutrals and spring blues in both outfits.
Thanks again, Fine Fellows Creamery. It was delicious! Ice cream photo dates are always a good idea.
Cape May sunsets make for perfect backgrounds for engagement photos.
Finally, we ended the session just after the sun left for the day. Check out some other engagement sessions here.
